How to create a theme with Divine Free version?
As you’ve already learned from our tutorials, there are certain limitations in Divine Free version. But in spite of this you may create WordPress themes using this plugin. In this article we’re going to explain how to do this considering the most significant limitations. First of all, layout size of the WordPress theme design must not be smaller than 750х1000 px and bigger than 1000х2000 px. This means the document width must not be less than 750 px and exceed 1000 px, the height must be within 1000 px and 2000 px.

Layout parameters to create WordPress theme
The second equally important limitation to create WordPress theme design is the default grid. You can display it by clicking the “G” button or selecting it from the “Settings-ShowGrid” menu. Functions of dragging the borders and changing block location are disabled. The whole layout will be split into 4 main areas (Header, Footer, Content, Sidebar).
|
Width |
Height |
| Header |
Layout width |
350px |
| Footer |
Layout width |
200px |
| Sidebar |
40% Layout width |
Depends on the layout height |
| Content |
60% Layout width |
Depends on the layout width |
Proceeding from this, you can mark all areas’ borders on the layout created for your WordPress themes.
