FTP Export

In this section we’ll consider main steps in FTP Export settings. First off, note there’s an option of preview, saving file on your local disc or creating and uploading it to FTP server using your account.

This option lets you view page example on basis of your theme. Files are saved in Html format in a temporary folder that you can point on the ‘Settings-Accounts’ page.

This option saves files of a ready theme in the directory you selected after conversion. After that you’ll be able to upload them to server manually.

FTP: «Account»

Option starting with ‘FTP’ denotes that after conversion files will be uploaded to FTP server using setting from ‘Account’ section.

Account setting.

Account setting is one of the most important stages, we’ll consider it in details. Account settings window can be activated in several ways: by going to ‘Settings – Accounts’ menu or by clicking the link in the export window ‘FTP accounts settings…’.

You may create export account in the ‘Accounts’ tab that appeared. To do that, perform the following actions:

  1. Fill in the ‘Account name’ field. This name will later be displayed in the ‘Publish To:’ list.
  2. Choose an appropriate export profile from the list. In Divine Free and Divine Elemente (formerly Divine Personal) only one export profile is available – ‘WordPress’.
  3. Fill in ‘Host : Port’ filed. Type in server address that you want to export to. And you can type in server IP address (e.g. 127.0.0.1) or DNS name (e.g. www.YourFtpServer.com).
  4. Fill in ‘Remote theme directory’ field. Type in the whole path to the catalogue on the server where your theme will be located. (E.g. ‘/htdocs/www/wp-content/themes/yourtheme/’).
  5. Fill in ‘Login’ and ‘Password’ fields. Here you insert account data for authorization on your FTP server.
  6. Press ‘Add’ button. After everything is set, your own export account is created. Now you can use it for the theme export by choosing it from the dropdown list ‘Publish To’.
You may also edit existing profiles. To do that, you simply need to pick out the necessary profile and make changes. After that, press ‘Apply’, and all changes will be saved. To rename or delete account, press RMB on the profile you need and choose necessary action in the menu.

Proxy Server Usage

In case you use proxy server, you need to specify the parameters on ‘Connection’ page.

Here you’re suggested to fill in the following data:
  1. ‘Host : Port’. Type in your Proxy server address. And you can type in server IP address (e.g. 127.0.0.1:21) or DNS name (e.g. www.YourFtpServer.com:21)
  2. ‘Login’ and ‘Password’. Here you insert account data for authorization on your Proxy server.
To check the accuracy of the data inserted, you need to press ‘Test connection’ button on ‘Accounts’ page; meanwhile, authorization attempt is performed using parameters that you set. In case the test is successful, ‘Test Successful’ message will pop up, otherwise, error message will appear.
